Why can't I delete posts?
-
I have around 25 drafts that I have deleted umpteen times. They are duplicates to articles that have already been published as a result of a YouTube post importer… I keep deleting them permanently and flushing the cache, and then the next day, here they are again! Please help. Every time I go to work on drafts and publish them, this comes up again and sucks away my time.

Hi!
Currently, I see two drafts on your site here:
https://edencultures.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=post
In your post you mentioned 25. Did you figure out how to delete them or have they temporarily been deleted but you expect them to reappear later?
You should be able to delete them following the steps here:

Oh, that is my old blog. Weird. My new blog is hosted on GoDaddy through wordpress.org… edencultures.com instead.

Thanks for clarifying. We support sites hosted on WordPress.com here, so our ability to help with self-hosted sites is somewhat limited. That having been said, you mentioned

did you check the settings on the importer? If it’s still connected to your site, perhaps it’s reimporting those posts for you.
If that doesn’t solve it, you might try asking in the support forum for self hosted WordPress sites:
