why can’t I edit my site without an error message coming up?
-
I’ve been happily editing my pages, and adding new ones, but now, every time I try, I get the message . ‘comments block, you’re currently using a legacy version of the block…with a toggle for switch to editable mode’.
I have never used comments, and don’t want them, and the toggle doesn’t work.
If I try and edit in another section of the page, this comes up ‘you have tried to edit a block that is part of a template, which may used in other posts.
Which obviously I don’t want.
As I’ve said, until now, I’ve had no problems. And why can’t I contact WordPress directly, and deal with a human being? If I hadn’t spent literally hours putting information on here, I’d pull the plug on the whole thing.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It seems the problem is located in the theme you are using. According to the error you get, that theme has a build-in comment block that isn’t compatible with current version of wordpress.com. You must contact support of the theme you are using.
