why cant i edit my website from my blog?

  Hey people, Forgive me for being a technophobe. I created a website (static page) here on wordpress as well as a blog but it seems i can’t edit the website, everything i try just changes the appearance of the blog itself ?? I am incredibly new to all of this and am probably missing something really simple, any ideas on what it is im doing wrong??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This is the blog linked to your username. http://damokung.com/ It is a free hosted WordPress.com blog and it has a domain mapping upgrade. I don’t know what you mean by this:

  a website (static page) here on wordpress as well as a blog

  Hi Timethief, Thank you for the quick reply but im still lost, so..from the top. I hold the domain name Damokung, which is the top of the pile when you Google search for it, yet i don’t seem to be able to edit or customize it. Not much good being top of the pile if i cant add content. How do i access it from “mongolboxer”?… Please :D

  At this point in time that domain is mapped to your free hosted WordPress.com blog and the blog has the blog title and optional tagline of “damokung: Just another WordPress.com site”. You go here > Settings Genral and change the blog title to mongolboxer. You can also change or simply remove the optional tagline as well.

  I did that earlier but it’s not the answer im after, if you Google the site you still get the old page, the one i want to edit.

  Thanks for your time, i’ll let you get on with your weekend and resign myself to paying someone to sort it out.

  Another good effort but that doesnt work either, you cant use an access key you have created for someone else, even if you log out first. Please don’t waste anymore of your time on it. I’ll go back to the drawing board i guess, trouble is i just signed up to twitter with the same domain name in order to drive traffic to a site i now cant access.
