why can't I embed Ted Talk?

  I can’t embed a Ted Talk in my blog, http://blog3015.wordpress.com/.
  I’ve follower protocols listed in the support section on this topic, but the code simply disappears when I hit “update.” Please advise.

  You must be doing something wrong such as using the wrong code because these are easy to post. See here please http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/ted-talks/#embedding-with-a-shortcode

  Yes, this is exactly what i’ve done– I open the “embed” control on the talk, copy the “short code”– the one in the middle, in square brackets. Open the editor in html, and paste the short code in. I then hit “update” and when I return to the editing window, the code has disappeared. There is just a blank space there. If I paste the short code into the post using the “visual” reader, it remains there, as a few ltters and numbers in square brackets.

  I realize it is supposed to be easy, but it is not working. That’s why I’m asking you for help.
