Why can’t I export my content to a hosted site?

  I have a wordpress.com site and wish to export the content to my hosted site. Instructions say that there should be an export option, but it doesn’t show up in the menu. Please advise.

  It’s via Tools. I assume you are the Admin of the site in question?
