Why can't I find a link to my main dashboard?

  When I log in, I am taken to a page that has no links to reaching my main dashboard where I can post video or other items to enrich my overall post. I have tried the link at the top left hand corner that says ‘new post’ but it not only doesn’t work the one time it did it took me back to the same worthless quick press page that only has options for including photos. If I wanted a blog that operated like a stingy miser, I would use only Twitter for it’s economical use of language. I don’t like quick press and want my dashboard back.

  To reach your dashboard, hover your mouse over your name in the admin bar while you are logged in. It should be on the far right. Hover the mouse over the blog you would like to manage, and click the dashboard link that appears next to that blog. Then use the left menu options to create new content.
