Why can't I find the latest version of my profile?

  I worked on my profile description of myself over a period of time. I was under the impression the latest version would be saved. Now, when i log in, I only see a short, old, unfinished version. It is very disheartening! Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

  Are you referring to the entry here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile
  section “About You”? If so then note that the data we enter there displays on your Gravatar profile page. http://en.gravatar.com/amysecrist

  Very few themes have an author profile drawn from the same data, which is designed into the theme to automatically display below all posts as an “author profile”.

  Author profiles are meant to be brief.
  Expanded bios belong on an About page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/

  For themes that do not have an author profile, you can create a draft post and create an author profile in it and then copy and paste it on the bottom of each post.

  Also note you can copy and paste the Users > My Profile > About me data onto a static About page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
