Why can't I fix my sidebar location?

  I pasted a paragraph from Word, and it caused my sidebar to relocate to the bottom of the page. I have tried everything to fix it. I deleted what I pasted, deleted the entire post, checked all codes for <div> etc. and found none, followed all the instructions on the WordPress help page concerning hidden html, etc. I even tried changing my blog’s theme and changing it back. Nothing works. My sidebar is still at the bottom of the page, and the front page looks off. How can I fix this?
