Why can't I follow another blog?

I am currently following two blogs and wish to follow another one. Support says that I make this happen by clicking on the +Follow button at the top of my screen. But I do not have this button, so I cannot activate the procedure. The blog I wish to follow (www.tuib.com) is indeed listed in ‘Blogs I follow’ but offers no tick boxes for me to enter any settings. The subscription options listed on http://www.tuib.com are not well explained. Advise please.

Hello johnian. Only WordPress blogs will have the Follow button at the top of the screen.

Hello feartheseeds, I appreciate it. Nevertheless, despite logging on successfully, I still don’t have that button to press (what I have instead is an annoying little graph, which I don’t want, showing how many hits there have been over the last few days), nor can I see it on my other wordpress.com blogsite when I log onto that. As I am up-to-date with the WP software, I am baffled. Any further ideas?

When you’re logged into your johnian account you’ll see that graph while you’re in your “Dashboard”. Once you’re on a WordPress blog, such as http://jonathanturley.org or http://nitawriter.wordpress.com , you should see the Follow button.
If you’re logged in and checked the links I left and you still can’t see the Follow button, let me know, and I’ll tag this thread so a moderator can take a look for you.
WordPress.com has no software to update, they do it for you.

Thanks, feartheseeds, I think my problem lay in not understanding till now the different procedure for following a WordPress blog than for following another type of blog. I see that the blog I want to follow now appears in my blogroll, so things are progressing.
