Why can't I follow blogs?

    I can’t follow blogs. I get to the WordPress blog, I click follow, but I get no notifications and the number of blogs I follow on the Blogs I Follow tab is always, always, zero. Also, when I instruct it to follow my followers from the site stats page, it tells me it is following, then the next time I come back to the site stats page, it’s not following. When I click on the followers, I get a gravatar, not their blog. How do I get to their BLOG, and not their GRAVATAR?

    There is a link on their gravatar page, is there not?
