Why can't I get
-
I am receiving emails from readers via WordPress which I want to approve for publication on my blog. When I try to approve I am asked to log in and then it tells me I don’t have access to dashboard to do so and must contact an administrator. Why are you obstructing the success of my blog with this admin nonsense? What must I foot make this site work? I really do think WordPress is hugely overrated and complicated.
You also told me my ludicrous do,sin name derekbatemandotnet1.wordpress would not appear to the public. But guess want? IT DOES ! Come on guys, lighten up
Are you resting on your laurels?
DerekThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No one is restricting your access. If you log in with a user authority level that does not permit you to approve comments, please log out and log back in with your administrator login to access the comments area.
It is the policy on this forum for one question per post, but I will do my best to answer.
If you are logged in, your site will be visible to you. You may think it is public but it is only visible to you if the settings are set right. If you log out, and the site is set to be private (see Privacy Settings), then the front page may be visible with a password login, or the site will not be indexed by search engines, whatever you set your privacy settings for on that site.
Please be kind to the volunteers and staff on this forum. They generously give of themselves to support the WordPress.com community. You could be one of them one day, giving back to the community and others blogging with WordPress.com for free, so play nice, please. We know you are frustrated. So are we.
