Why can't I get into dashboard after WordPress update?

Having some issues getting into the backend of our site http://www.davidlawrence.me after the latest WordPress 4.7 update.
http://davidjlawrence.me/wp-admin/
It comes up with the following error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_wp_error() in /var/sites/d/davidjlawrence.me/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 434Why is this happening and how can I fix it

It looks like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress.org site instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.
