Why can't I get my pages to appear under the content menu?

  Trying to use wordpress in the fashion of a web page. Want to have several pages accessible under the content menu. Can’t understand how to make this happen

  The content link is for your posts, i.e. your blog’s dynamic feed that’s updated every time you publish a new post. It’s not showing anything at present because you haven’t created any posts yet. Pages, on the other hand, are static, i.e. they don’t update automatically. If you publish a new page it should be added to the menu and the page titles will then appear next to the word “Content”.

  If you’ve created a custom menu you might have it set to not add pages automatically. Then you’ll need to add them manually by going to Appearance ->Menus in your dashboard.
