Why can't I get the OXYGEN Theme's Static Showcase page (my home page) to work

I’ve been grappling with OXYGEN now for 3 days. My blog is http://volleycall.wordpress.com/ No matter what I do I can’t get any images or slidebar to appear on my static home SHOWCASE page. I’ve checked settings over and over. I’ve adjusted images to proper size (though I find 750 minimums pretty large) and just nothing works. I love OXYGEN. I don’t want to abandon it but I can’t make it work. PLEASE HELP. I’ve interacted with forum members. I’ve googled possible solutions to my wit’s end. I’ve read every piece of advice found from you. Please help. I want this working today so I can move forward. THANKS !!!!!

very pleased to say I’ve finally gotten the static home showcase page including slider to function. Pulling my hair out I thought I was going mad. Thanks for the help :)

i still cant make the slider appear in my blog even try anyway on internet , can you help me .
After a choose sticky for the post , nothing happen .
I also try put the “page” in primary sidebar , and stick in “page order”
but nothing happen , nothing appear T.Tplease contact : (email visible only to moderators and staff)
