Why can't I get the paypal donate button to work?

  I go to the paypal website and copy the email code for the donate button. But when I try to link the image to the button, I get a bunch of text under the donate button. How do I link the Paypal donate button code to the button image all in one. This is driving me crazy.

  I am, it’s not showing up for me when I click ‘merchant services’ – goes to new signup page even though I am already signed up as premier member.

  I have found things work smoother for me if I sign in ahead of time and keep Paypal open in a new tab. That might help?
