  Why cant I launch my free site?

  Hi there, when you click your “Launch” button, leave the top line empty on the next page where it says “Give your site an address” and look toward the bottom of the page. You should see the free WPcom site address you selected at site creation with a link to “skip purchases” on the right side. Click that and then keep selecting the free site options to launch your site.

  Alternatively in your site’s MySites>Manage>Settings>General you should also be able to change your site Privacy from Private to Public.
