Why can't I like others' posts?
-
I can post comments on others’ sites, but the like button on them is (often) not working.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
The problem is not with my own site; it is with others’ sites, for example: http://melindagreenharvey.com.
-
It could possibly be because something is glitched that WordPress needs to fix.
Try logging off and logging back on and see if it works.
If not, just comment you like it. -
Logging off and on doesn’t help. Will like in the comments section, as you suggest, and hope this is a WordPress problem that will be fixed. Thanks for replying, Junie17125.

To be clear there is no WordPress problem that requires fixing. If you are logged into WordPress.com and your are unable to click a like button on a a WordPress.COM hosted blog then you have either a browser related issue or a connectivity issue.

Hello, Timethief:
I had not gotten past checking that Opera was one of the browsers WordPress works with when I began being able to Like other people’s blog posts again. No idea what changed. Happy to be able to Like again. Thank you for your wonderful list of troubleshooting tips. I will save them in case the problem recurs.
