Why can't I load data on my blog?

  I’m trying to create a blog. I’m trying to add Widgets to my first page. My picture and a brief statement of purpose appear on the page. Also, BLOGS I FOLLOW is followed by three links to click on. But when I try to add other Widgets, the names of the Widgets , ARCHIVES, UPCOMING EVENTS, etc.) appear on the page, but that is all. Beneath my picture and statement it says, “We cannot load blog data at this time.” HELP! I’M STUCK!

  Hi there,

  I’m not sure what you want and what you want to get rid of in terms of widgets, but I’ll try to address what you mentioned:

  I see that you set more widgets in the First Front Page Widget Area, but note that it will only appear if you set a static Front page using the Front Page Template as seen here:

  

  If you want to set up a static front page using the front page template, please follow the guide here:

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve/

  If you want those widgets in your sidebar, go here:

  https://pavetheroadwithwriting.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  And move the widgets from First Front Page Widget Area to your Main Sidebar. You can just drag the widgets to your Main Sidebar area.

  Beneath my picture and statement it says, “We cannot load blog data at this time.”

  This is the About.me widget. About.me is a free service that lets you create a beautiful one-page website all about you. Did you sign up for that service? If you want to use that widget, you can sign up for About.me here:

  If not, what you can do is just add a Text Widget instead and write your profile there.
