Why can't I post or do anything with my blog?

  My blog says I am logged in but I cannot post or basically do anything with my account without it sending me to a sign in screen with my email/user name and password. Takes me to the verification screen. I enter the verification code and it takes me to the WordPress.com home page or it kicks me out. What is going on?
