Why can't I post pictures/videos to the front page of my blog?

  Hi,
  I have been trying to post pictures and videos so that they are visible on the front page of my blog. When I post them they are only accessible from my front page if I click on the title of the post that appears on the front page, Clicking on the title of the post then brings you to the picture or video. Is there any way that I can cut out the middle man and just post the visuals right on my front page? Thanks so much!

  You chose to use a theme that has automatic excerpts rather than full posts on the front page of the blog. If you don’t like it then change themes. http://theme.wordpress.com/
