Why can't I preview themes?

    I want a new theme for my Write Through It blog. Often when I try to preview a theme, I get a blank screen that says “Cheatin’, huh?” It’s happened with several themes, including Hemingway Rewritten and Yoko.

    Sorry you experienced that! I was able to log into your account and preview those themes on your site without trouble.

    Please try to clear your browser’s cookies and cache, and give it another try:

    Let me know if that helped. If not, are there any themes that do work, while others do not? If you get the error message one time, and try again, does the error happen again, or does it sometimes resolve itself? Let me know and I can troubleshoot this further.

    Finally, if you continue seeing the error message, please try the same action in Firefox, instead of your Chrome browser.

    Thanks for your prompt reply. I couldn't make it clear in the “phrase it as a question” format, but the “cheating, huh?” screen showed up irregularly. Usually it didn't; sometimes it did. It wasn't peculiar to any one theme. Everything's OK now, and I'm down to two alternatives for Write Through It's new theme. If it happens again, I'll try clearing the cache or using another browser.

    Btw, the theme preview feature is great. It's also a wonderful procrastination technique. I really am going to make up my mind . . .
