Why can't I Print?

    Hi,
    For some reason I am unable to “Print” any of my blogs now. I used to print without any problems and use different themes on the four active blogs I have. None of the blogs will print. I have had my printer and AOL checked out, and the technical support people from them tell me everything is okay so it must be the wordpress blogs. I’d appreciate a solution.

    Hi there,

    What error are you getting when you try to print? I just used the “Print This” button on one of your posts and it printed successfully to my own printer just fine using Chrome.

    Hello, Happiness Engineer, and thank you for your response.
    I don’t get an error message at all. I hit print this button and it goes like it always has to the screen that allows me to select pages to print, but when I click print, nothing happens. The Top Speed at the bottom of the blog goes a mile a minute with something, but without any results.
    It’s like the blog can’t talk to my printer any more, if that makes sense. I have an hp laptop with windows 7 and an hp photosmart C4580 if you need to know that info. I am totally clueless. So sorry to trouble you, but I really need to be able to print my blogs.

    You were exactly right – the problem did not lie with wordpress at all – it was my aol 9.7 desktop messing up –

    How excellent! I’m thrilled that you worked it out. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been working through different variations of browsers for a fair portion of the day trying to figure out what might be wrong. Sooooo glad that you wrote back in!

    If anyone else has the same problemo, be sure to ask if they have the 9.7 desktop version of aol. The tech person said it was a problem they were seeing in an update they’d done to that version and didn’t tell anyone. Hush, hush – and evidently too hush, hush to let their subscribers know about the problem.
    I’m so sorry about your time I wasted, but maybe you can help someone else. It’s a very simple fix, but I can’t tell you – would have to show you on the computer. Anyway, send them packing to Aol!!
