Why can't I publish a post?

I’, not getting the confirmation emails to publish posts. When I try to publish a post, I get a message about inserting the code from a confirmation email. I’ve repeatedly clicked on ‘Resend confirmation email.’ I’ve checked my spam folder and every part of my email account. I’ve confirmed that the email address is valid. Nothing!

Check in your email spam filter and under your “social” tab in your gmail account please, if you use it. I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Yes, I have checked my spam filter. I have also checked my social and other tabs. I checked all of those before posting here, and after. Still no confirmation email.

Then all you have to do now is resist posting into any other threads and wait patiently here for Staff to work their way forward to this thread and help you.

I apologize for commenting on that other thread. I’m not used to user forums for tech support, so a learning curve. My intention was solely to signal that it might be a systemic problem. Yes, you are busy. I’m sorry if that made things more difficult.
