why can't I publish my new post?

    I tried to publish my new post – and received the comment “invalid request” – the post is not published.
    There is nothing to say that the file size is too large [I uploaded a picture] – and no reason given as to WHY it is an ‘invalid request’
    Please clarify!

    I’m using Firefox 10.0.1
    I have used Firefox for earlier postings, though it would have been an earlier version of Firefox
    Do I need to update the version of WordPress that I am using, or is that automatic?
    is it the photo that is the difficulty? [shouldn’t be as there is no warning on what size to upload]

    I’d like to rule-out a browser-specific issue.

    How interesting: I re-wrote the post, added the photo, and published without problem on Safari [I use a Mac]
    Please can you tell me if this is going to be a continuing problem with Firefox, or whether it is being resolved – if it is only Firefox which causes this problem, do you know what causes it, why Firefox should refuse to publish? Thank you for your help

    It’s possibly a problem with your installation of Firefox. Start by updating that, as the latest version is 10.0.2.
