Why can't I purchase custom-design upgrade alone?

  I want to purchase custom-design upgrade ($30) for my website but the store is always taking me to page suggesting premium/business ($99/$299) upgrades. I want just custom-design, and nothing else.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Because Staff disabled it, that’s why. You can only get it as part of the bundle now.

  Oh… but I already have custom domain enabled. Should the premium upgrade not cost less for me (thinking of bargain :) ?

  If so, put “modlook” without the quotation marks in the sidebar. They’ll work it out.

  Since your account was registered after Sept 1, 2014, you are now subject to the new Cable TV bundle Up-Sell pricing plan

  However if you have a custom domain name and/or domain mapping the price should be reduced by the remaining value of the upgrade – if you are over charged and don’t get the credit the staff can fix the over charge – just post back here in the forum

  Thanx @auxclass and @raincoaster. Premium bundle comes with a ‘no ads’ feature. Would I still be able to apply for Wordads with this bundle?

  Absolutely. Applying to WordAds depends on having a custom domain and also on enough traffic (and probably on various things staff aren’t telling us, like level of patchouli scent, etc).

  Thanx for telling me about patchouli scent. I have a patchouli splash with me and will give a dash of it to my laptop… hoping it reaches WP servers.

  I’ve activated the free trial of Premium bundle but I am sure I’ll not be buying it. I need custom-design upgrade only and spending $99 for this doesn’t seem a right thing. I wish they just let me have this (custom-design) upgrade at old price ($30).
