Why can’t I purchase the $49 Quick start session

Hi @coachdoris4, this service is intended for sites hosted on our servers, but it looks like your site is hosted with Bluehost. Did you want to move the site here?
Alternatively if you’re hoping to find a developer, we currently recommend this resource.

Hello there,
Many thanks for getting back to us.
Please see a full run down of features and costs here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/#lpc-pricing
I hope this helps.

Do you have a comparison of what I’m getting with Blue host vs WordPress? I’ve never used either.

Hi there:
We don’t have a specific cost or feature comparison between Bluehost and WordPress.com.
To note: both options would be using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but one would be hosted at Bluehost and one would be hosted with us.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, but you can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software that you would use at Bluehost and WordPress.com:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
That page will show you the differences between hosting with us and hosting with Bluehost (which you would find under the “WordPress.org” column).
Here at WordPress.com, you don’t have to download software, pay for hosting, worry about security or backups, or manage a web server. You can instead focus on creating wonderful content, and let us handle the rest! If you go with Bluehost, you would need to bear the burden of making sure your site is secure, backed up, and up to date.
We’re happy to help with any other questions – but that above link should give you a good idea on what option would be best for you.
If you do decide to host your site with WordPress.com, you can purchase those Quick Start sessions to get extra help in getting familiar with your site. :)
I hope that helps!

Thanks how do you suggest I get a refund from Bluehost and signup with WordPress.com for hosting? I purchased March 1st.

The first thing you’ll need to do is transfer it to a site here at WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/
Then, transfer the domain to us: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
That way, you’ll be able to keep your site, but you can cancel Bluehost. For that last part, you can reach them at https://www.bluehost.com/contact

I did the first thing and exported.
But, I cannot find the import domain page. Since I had not created my new website there is little to import.
How to just move the domain name. -
You’ll need to have a site here first: https://wordpress.com/start and you’ll be able to transfer the domain as part of that process.

macmanx: Thanks for your help. WordPress is asking me to pay, can I get my money back from Bluehost? I paid for 2 years $142 4-days ago.
-
Hello there,
That may be possible – but Bluehost ultimately would need to confirm that.
They can be contacted here: https://www.bluehost.com/help
I hope this helps.

We can’t help with a refund from Bluehost. You must contact their support regarding their refund policy, https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/refund-policy#overview

when i go to wordpress.com/start I get in to a set up loop and it will not process a new plan. How to stop the message “Hooray! Your site will be ready shortly”
-
Hello there,
It looks like the site is created – if you visit this link: https://wordpress.com/plans/yourinnerjourney.org are you able to purchase a plan?
You may not need the other tab open that says “hoooray…”.
Many thanks in advance.
