Why can't I put a Lookbook badge on my blog?
-
I recently created a LookBook account so that I can post my outfits and as a fashion blogger I would like to put a badge on my blog so that my readers can find all my outfits all at one place and they can follow me there as well. My problem is that the HTML (I’m not sure if this is the name, that long line full of letters and numbers and stuff hahaha) won’t work for some reason. I copy it and paste it into the right place at the widgets but as soon as i click save the middle part of the long line disappears and then it won’t display on my bog properly. Well, it won’t display at all, to be more precise. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks, in advance!

We need to see that actual code you are entering in order to help you. If it is an iframe code or JavaScript or contains advertising then you will not be able to have it display. The software will strip the code out for security reasons. Please post the code here between code tags.

<!–BEGIN LOOKS WIDGET–><script src=”http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js” type=”text/javascript”></script><script src=”http://lookbook.nu/widget/looks.js?id=3440509&thumbs=4&source=my_looks&gender=both&align=right&r=1399397149&hash=1605de25621701fceb3d14add97c1e53″></script><div id=”lb_looks_widget_1399397149″></div><!–END LOOKS WIDGET–>
this is it and yes I’ve read things about how this might be a javascript code and that’s why it won’t work. In that case is there anything I can do or is it completely impossible for me to put this badge on my blog?

Yes it’s JavaScript and no you cannot use it on a blog hosted by WordPress.COM. To use it your would have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and set up your own WordPress.org install. Read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
