Why can't I put in a meta tag into my post?

    I am trying to insert this tag “<meta name=”pinterest-rich-pin” content=”false” />” into one of my posts so that I can turn off rich pins (from Pinterest). Every time I input the HTML and update the post, the HTML disappears. Please help!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    This is a multi-user blogging platform. Our blogs share a common architecture. We WordPress.COM bloggers cannot access metadata and insert anything intop the <header>.

    Thank you!! So basically there is absolutely no way to uninstall rich pins from pinterest on a wordpress.com blog?
