Why can't I reconnect my site?
-
Hi, I had to disconnect my site because well WordPress told me too so I did and I thought I could reconnect it but I can’t find anything and it keeps telling me I have to upgrade my plan. Why do I have to do this when it was fine before? What did I do wrong? Please Help!
My site is http://www.jennathroughthelookingglass.com

Hi There,
Could you share the name of your WordPress.com blog so we can help?
Could you confirm that you can log into your WordPress.com account with this link – https://wordpress.com/me
Thanks,

Hi there,
Are you trying to reconnect from the Jetpack settings in WP-Admin on your site?
Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies completely. Then log back into your WordPress.com account and your site’s dashboard and try connecting again.

HI yes, I am trying to reconnect from the jetpack settings. I have done what you said above and nothing happens. I have tried everything that I could find on different forums as well.

Nothing every time I have clicked on something nothing happens. I really have no idea what to do. I also just see that my social media aren’t linked up anymore to my blog. I just tried to reconnect those too and it won’t work.

Okay this popped up for me
Jetpack: [unknown_token] It looks like your Jetpack connection is broken. Try disconnecting from WordPress.com then reconnecting
Now how do I fix this?
-
For what it’s worth, I can see that http://www.jennathroughthelookingglass.com is connected and looks good here:
If you log in using another browser do you get the same thing?
Or where are you seeing the unknown token error?

Here’s a good place to get started: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/
If you’re still not able to get this sorted use the “contact us” link to the right hand side of the page to reach Jetpack support directly.

So I got my site reconnected. Nothing above helped. But now I can’t delete the other site I accidentally created while trying to figure all of this out. Now please don’t tell me the normal way because it isn’t working. Every time I get to the step where you need to type in the site I do that, but then the delete site button doesn’t work? It stays grey and doesn’t turn red so then I can’t click on the button. I have even triple checked to make sure I am typing in the right site.

What site exactly do you want to remove?
I see two sites in your account – a Jetpack connected site, http://www.jennathroughthelookingglass.com/, and a WordPress.com site, https://jennathroughtthelookingglass.wordpress.com/
If you mean the WordPress.com site, click on My Sites ->Switch Site and select that site. Then click on Settings. The Delete Site option is at the bottom of the page.

It is the wordpress.com site. Like I said above that isn’t working for me. please read previous reply

There is no reason you should not be able to delete the WordPress.com site. What exactly is going wrong when you try to do that? Are you getting an error message? Are you unable to select the correct site in the site picker?
Are you able to delete it directly from here?

While I can disconnect a Jetpack site for you, I cannot delete your WordPress.com site – only you have that ability, so please provide detailed information on what’s not working so I can help you fix this.
