Why can't I reduce the size of an image?

  I remember that when I wanted to insert an image to a post I could make it smaller. I’m working on iPad and I don’t see such an option. I can crop but cannot reduce size proportionatly. Do you know why. As an exampla I want to mate the image in this post smaller https://wordpress.com/post/notlar11.wordpress.com/522

  Hi there,

  I will try to help you with this. I see you wish to reduce the image size. You can achieve the same by following steps given below:

  – Go to Dashboard wp-admin>Posts
  – Edit a post with image
  – Select the image and Edit
  – You’ll see advanced options to resize your image and display it according to your wish

  These advanced options only appear when you edit an image directly from a post or page.

  Super! Thank you. Somehow I missed thoso little “-” and “+” signs when I first tried to edit the image.

  That happened to me as well. I pretty much started believing that there’s noway to resize image. We often miss out on tiny things ;)
