Why can't I register a blog?

    I want to register a blog under the email (email visible only to moderators and staff), waited for 1.5 hours and never got the authentication link. Out of frustration, I registered under my personal email account, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and then in less than 30 seconds, I received an authentication under my personal gmail account.

    I want to register a blog using the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email, is there some restriction that is not allowing me to do so? The (email visible only to moderators and staff) gmail is a forwarding email that would allow my club to have some continuity with access to the WordPress Account, and not have to change the user name from year to year.

    As a next step and ultimate goal, I am trying to have this blog page put in a widget that will display on the website,

    Can you please look into this or provide more information as to how I can get this done?

    It looks like you were able to register a blog under the email address you wished to use since you posted this thread.
