Why Can't I Remove the Sticky Ad on Mobile?

    Today I discovered that if I enable ads on my website – which I do – that I cannot turn off the sticky ad at the bottom of the mobile version of my site. This ad does not exist on desktop, but does on mobile, and I cannot physically turn off that singular placement. In order to remove, I have to turn off all ads.

    I’d like to see if we can make a change to allow me to turn that off. I have ads placed throughout my site where I want them to be, and having that bottom sticky ad interferes with other plugins I have (back to top button, social shares, etc.).

    Can we please add the ability to remove that sticky mobile ad? I work in UX and am particularly sensitive to what is annoying to users.

    Hi there,

    We have disabled the “mobile sticky ad” placement on your account and you should no longer see it on mobile. Note that it’s possible you will see it for a day or so due to caching, but you can clear your cache or wait for it to expire and be reset on it’s own.

    Thanks for the response. I actually did use live chat first and they suggested I go here.

    I’ll keep an eye out for the next couple days and let you know if it doesn’t get removed.

    Great, I did see your chat after saying that. I let the chat operator (that helped you) know the trick I used to turn that off since it’s not a common question we get.
