Why can't I see columns in my stats chart?
-
Stats chart not displaying columns. My stats daily visit chart is blank. The blue columns have disappeared. If I hover over a day, a flag appears saying how many hits but I would rather see the columns to get info at-a-glance.

That’s not possible (yet). We’ve registered your suggestion and will keep it in mind for future features and updates. Thank you.

I am replying to the email response I had from you as your above response does not make sense (we have always been able to see columns on the stats chart…I am not asking for something new).
Your email reply…
Can you please try clearing out your cache? Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?
My response:
I have emptied the cache and use Google Chrome. I don’t have any other browser. BTW this problem started on April 1st. I thought that it was an April Fool joke but it has never been rectified. -
Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? so I can get a better understanding of your problem.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I don’t know how to put a screen shot here in this forum but I sent you one as an attachment in the email reply to the email I received with your above message. Did you get it?

Can you please upload the screenshot via Media -> Add New in your Dashboard so we can take a look?

That’s a bit odd. Which version of Chrome are you running?
Also, do you see the same problem in Firefox?
-
I hope this the right info…Google Chrome version 19.0.1084.46 m and it tells me that it is up to date. I don’t have Firefox installed or any other browser.
-
Would you please install Firefox or a different browser so we can rule-out a browser-specific issue?
-
Actually, I dug around and found that I do indeed have Firefox…probably an ancient version, but I see the blue columns in Firefox. So, is this some weird glitch in Chrome that I just have to live with? I guess I could do that :-) Thanks! Unless…you know of a fix?
-
At least we know it’s specific to your Chrome installation now.
Would you please check with all Chrome extensions disabled?

That is definitely rather odd. Is there any chance that you have access to another computer to check from?
-
Not tonight. Maybe I can try someone’s tomorrow. I will let you know. Thanks for all the help so far!! I don’t know how you manage it with the millions of WordPress bloggers you have to take care of.

I gave my friend my log-in and he took a look using Google Chrome. He can see the columns just fine. I didn’t mention that I can see the columns on the stats chart on the dashboard. I can only not see them on the full stats page.
-
Ok, just to verify so we’re on the same page, http://wordpress.com/my-stats/ is where you cannot see the columns, but your friend can from his computer?
