Why can't I see my featured image for my post when posted on facebook?

  I am using a template with featured images and have set up my blog to automatically update on facebook when I write a new post. However when it does that it does not include a thumbnail image of my featured image for that post. Additionally, when you click the link you cannot see the featured image. The featured image is “there”… that is if you were to just go directly to the sight out side of facebook, directly to the url you will see the image. Can you help me? I would love for the thumbnail images to be seen on the facebook post and at the very least, see the image when you click through to the website…

  Before I automated the updates to facebook, I would add the link to facebook manually. Even then while you could see and choose from thumbnails of the images I have used on my blogs… I could never choose, never had an option for the image I had just used for the blog post I was posting. Hmmm… what’s up?…

  The image chosen by Facebook is entirely up to Facebook and we have no control over that.

  They choose images based on a set of criteria that tends to change frequently. I’m not one to give up myself, but I’d have to say that it would be best not to worry about this one.
