Why can't I see my Google map?
-
I’ve copied and pasted the following into the Text section of a new blog post:
<iframe width=”640″ height=”480″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ src=”https://www.google.ca/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=206754057787360907458.0004e3b876288b7a26763&hl=en&ie=UTF8&t=m&ll=55.279115,-94.746094&spn=49.246177,112.5&z=3&output=embed”></iframe>
<small>View Where’s Kinder Sconestone? in a larger map</small>I saved the draft and checked preview, but I just see this: http://kindersconestone.wordpress.com/2013/11/16/9/
I tried all the tips provided here http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/ but nothing seems to work.
Would love some help with this. Thanks.

The code from Google is a problem – I tried your code & got new code from from your map and no go –
But I got code for a Google map with a generic address and it works fine – is there another way to reference the map? I know you can have a map with locations on it as I did it on another site but it was a year ago and things worked and I don’t remember any big issues
See if you can define or name the map in a different way

Hi there,
I tried to copy and paste your map HTML into a post on my own blog just to observe the behavior and noticed that saving the post didn’t produce the valid short code. I then realized that the map is made up of latitude and longitude coordinates which can sometimes be problematic. This section of the Google Maps support document talks about it: Google Maps -> Additional Info.
