why can't i see my newly installed goodreads widget on my blog
-
I have installed the goodreads widget on my blog. I can see it when I go into ‘widgets’ but I can’t see it when I go to Website. Does it have something to do with the visibility button
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please check your widget visibility settings https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
Also be sure you use this guide https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/goodreads-widget/

Note the theme customizer widgets settings too please https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

https://countessdrusilla.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
More to the point is that this is the URL for a private Staff supported forum for blogs registered in the course http://blogging101november2015.wordpress.com/

The only site in your account that you own is countessdrusilla.com. Is that the site where you’re trying to add the widget?
If so, please be aware that that is a self-hosted WordPress.org website, so we can’t help you with that here. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The Jetpack plugin you have installed does give you access to the Widget Visibility setting, but I don’t think that’s the problem here, as all widgets are by default visible everywhere. That setting only comes into play if you want specific widgets to only show in specific locations.
Rather, I suspect the problem might be with the widget embed code you got from Goodreads, but as I have no way to access your site’s dashboard there is no way for me to check that for you.
Please post in the WordPress.org support forums for more help with this, as they’ll be best able to advise you. f you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.
