Why can't I see my posts under Reader Topics?
-
I can’t find my posts on Reader Topics. Yesterday I published a new post and saw the post under Reader, in the relevant Topic, and today I can no longer see my post. What gives? My posts from last week (when I created the blog) have also not been updated with my new user name, which has been operational since the weekend already. Basically, everything was fine yesterday, it was all appearing, and now today it seems have vanished or the Reader page is not updated / updating. I have signed out, logged in again, reloaded the browser and still nothing. Any explanation(s)? Thank you.

I only had a quick look at your blog and your blog is of ‘mature’ content. You have even added the 18+ only in a widget. If you didn’t mark your blog as ‘mature’ yourself it’s possible someone else did, and ‘mature’ blogs do not have their posts shown in the Reader.

A blog that is marked as Mature is excluded from public areas of the WordPress.com service. This means:
It is not eligible to be featured in Freshly Pressed on the front page of WordPress.com
It will not appear in global tag listings
It will not appear in Top Blogs listings, recent posts, or related posts listings on other blogs
The blog’s users cannot use that URL as a link in their WordPress.com Forums profile … read more here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/ -
The blog has not been officially marked as “mature” so the link appears here in the forums to the public. With an officially mature blog, only moderators and staff can see the link.
We are not TOS staff, and so whether the blog is mature or not is not up to us to determine. As such, the link will remain until staff, or the OP, makes the decision.
BTW, I did send a message regarding this blog so they can make an official designation.

So did I. But as I said, we are not staff and it is up to them, just as with suspended blogs, to make the determination.

Exactly. All we do is report blogs and it’s up to ToS Staff to investigate and make decisions. Sorry if I sounded out to lunch. -
I agree the content is mature, but compared to other blogs in this genre, mine is positively tame in this regard. I cannot understand why this blog would have been “excluded” yet others, whose content is way more explicit and crude, in word as well as images, even in their tags, are not excluded?

please see this link as an example of what I am talking about:

If you feel as though they should be marked as “mature” then you can report them.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/And if staff decides your blog is not “mature” enough to mark it so, then perhaps there is another problem with why your posts are not appearing in the Reader. There have been a few questions about posts not showing up in the Reader.

At this point there is nothing more we volunteers can accomplish here so I’ll close this topic.
