Why can't I see my stats?

My blog (richardsattic.wordpress.com) is either not collecting stats or not displaying them. I get the message “No stats are available for this time period” in the display in my dashboard.

Our stats are not real time stats. The data is cached and takes hours to update. See here for much more on stats > http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
Do be aware the likes and shares are not pages view stats. Likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “like” and “share” your posts in several locations such as in email and the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat.I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up.
