Why can't I see my tagline?

  I have my tagline saved in the customizer section, but it’s not showing on the actual page. What else do I need to do please??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not every theme is designed to display an optional tagline. I do not see one here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sketch/ or here https://sketchdemo.wordpress.com/

  I also used Google search for this string

  Thanks very much Timethief! Hadn’t realised it would still give me the option if it wasn’t going to display it.

  Yes the option is always there at Dashboard → Settings → General because we can change themes and most themes do display Taglines.
