Why can't I see the photos on my blog and other WordPress blogs?

I can’t see the photos on my blog or on other WordPress blogs. This has been happening off and on since April. Sometimes it last a few hours; sometimes several days (like now). This only happens on my Mac (using either Safari or Chrome), but not on my other PCs/laptops (using Explorer).

That is rather odd. Have you tried clearing your browser’s cookies and cache?

Did that. . . and, of course, re-booted several times. It doesn’t seem to be related to the browser, because I had the same problem on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, which I downloaded just to check.
Interestingly, there was the same problem when I looked at WP blogs on my husband’s work iPad last night, which has no relation to our Mac, except for being Apple.
The pictures came back this morning. I expect they will be there a few days and then go away again as they have been doing since April.
