Why can't I see the Theme I uploaded through my GoDaddy FTP?

  I have uploaded a theme through the GoDaddy FTP uploader. I have also purchased the approprate hosting and downloaded the wordpress application within GoDaddy. My issue is that when I log into my wordpress dashboard I am unable to see the theme that I uploaded. Any assistance that you might be able to provide would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. You were probably looking at the Dashboard of your WordPress.com blog.

  Themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.
