Why can't I stay logged in as admin at my self-hosted Word Press blog?

  When I logged in this AM to see why some comments weren’t showing I changed a post slightly, found I was no longer logged in when I finished and the post, while it has a permalink is not visible to me. Also, logging in (again and again which I have to do) takes me to the control panel rather than the site itself.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Whatever caused this it has now stopped causing it. All appears to be well.
