Why can't I successfully save a flipped .png image?
-
I am trying to editing an existing .png file (flipping and scaling) for my featured image on the Home Page. I have no trouble scaling, but whenever I try to save the image after flipping it, it either reverts back to the original image and doesn’t save, or appears to save, but in the media library, shows up as a “?”
Thanks

I had removed the image, but I have put it back in so you an see it – featured image on home page. I’m also experiencing this anomaly: Sometimes the edited flipped image appears to be saved (i.e. I go to Media Library and it’s there, it is not accessible if I try to insert it from within a post or page – it shows up as a question mark in the Library. Thanks for any help.

Yes, it is the portrait of me. I placed it back on the page do you could see which image i was talking about. But I need the picture flipped horizontally so I am facing the other direction.

Ah, thank you – the image is now in my library, and I was able to set it as the featured image. It seems as though it would be best to edit the image before bringing it into the library?
