why cant i – suddenly – get the regular page when i do the ‘ad new post’?

    Hi @chabadcuba, I’m not sure what you mean. Could you get a screenshot and upload it to your media library, then update us here?

    Also if you’re just missing the details like the ones you’ve posted here, can you try clicking on the “gear” icon to see if the sidebar’s just been tucked away?

    Isn’t that what you see when you’re working in the /wp-admin classic editor rather than the block editor.

    Mmm, the block editor’s options aren’t in that exact order, but they’re still there. Here’s what I see below the Publish / Update button:

    Visibility: Public
    Publish: Immediately
    Post Format: (if the site has formats)
    Stick to the top of the blog
    Pending Review (if that’s set)
    Author (author name)
