Why can’t I update my email address?
I’ve changed my email address and would like to update it on my wordpress page, but it says’ it’s Unable to Update. I’m not sure why it’s saying that.

That’s odd and I don’t know why you are seeing that message so I’ve tagged this thread for a Staff response.
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Try changing it at http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ first.
If that doesn’t work, try Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.

Today it was listed as “Pending,” but I’d received no email notice, so I cancelled the requested and then tried it again and it worked this time around. Not sure why, but it did. Thanks for the response guys.

ok, just cancelled the pending change logged out logged in tried to make the change again and it is still coming up with the message. not sure what to do now?
