Why can’t I upload video?

  I’m trying to upload a video from dailymotion and I’ve followed all the instructions, but when I hit “insert into post,” the screen goes blank and nothing appears in my post! I’ve read other forums and questions where this is happening with pictures, but the “fix” being offered doesn’t apply to video. Anybody else having this problem? Any ideas?

  I have an idea.

  Since the video uploading isn’t that good, i just make a code myself. Just follow the instructions with the code, and put brackets in between the code ([..]).

  I do that with google video, just open up wordpad or notepad and build a code. Then, just copy and paste it into your post.

  What is the URL of your blog? Are you putting it in via Vodpod or trying to use embed code? Or are you following the instructions in the FAQ?

  I think they might be. It all depends WHOSE instructions he’s following. I know you are supposed to be able to directly upload YouTubes now, but I don’t think that applies to Dailymotion.

  You have to have an application that can convert the dailymotion video on your desktop from flash (flv) to .mov or .mp4, etc., before you can upload it with the WP.com uploader.
