Why can't i use Featured Slider in Showcase Page template in my oxygen theme?

I can’t use the Featured Slider in Showcase Page template in my Oxygen Theme. I just don’t have any ‘location’ buttons, even in help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I already read it, i just can’t do the featured slider. When i do a ‘sticky post’, it only post a regular article. I can’t have the beautiful featured slider, only a regular blog format. Even if i choose a page as a ‘showcase template’ it doesn’t change anything. And when i post an image, i don’t have the ‘location’ box to choose featured image. Even in my screen options menu, i don’t have the ‘location’ box. I don’t know what to do…

Since your blog is set to private, I cannot see it to tell you where you’re going wrong.
And please stop looking for a “location box”: I already pointed out that there’s no such thing in the wordpress.com version of the theme. -
