Why can't I use this domain?

can’t use a domain that is free. I want to use a new domain( vidadepiloto.wordpress.com ) and nobody is using it, when I try to enter this url it shows that the site is no longer avaiable and that the author deleted the site, but I still can’t use it. I want it to my new blog and I’ll even buy a domain (.com) so can you guys please help me here and tell me if it will be possible to use this domain or not? appreciate your help and your time.

Someone created and deleted vidadepiloto.wordpress.com. It’s not available any more because WordPress.com doesn’t recycle domains. You could try registering a variation of the name.

A custom domain does not need to match your base blog – the custom domain when mapped gives a new address for your visitors to see when they visit – the base blog does not need to match the custom domain name at all
