Why can't I view my own blog when others can?

Instead of getting to my blog page, I get a window covering it that tells me I have to either renew my domain name, which I don’t want to do, or cancel it, which it won’t let me do, saying my domain was not registered with WordPress. It was.

I didn’t want to renew for the last two years, either, and changed my settings to NOT automatically renew, and it was charged to my credit card anyway. I think the only reason that didn’t happen this year was that my credit card expired. (Whew!)

Can someone please believe that I do not want to renew my domain name, and that I’d just like to continue using the free version?

I had to actually go to someone else’s computer in order to be able to view my own blog, and that’s not good PR, as I am not happy about that.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I can absolutely help you with that.

Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain jazzsoup42.net it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using jazzsoup42.net again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.

DO want to cancel the domain name. Confirmed.

    Thanks, rootjosh.

  • I have canceled the domain.

Let me know if that sorts things out.
