Why can't people comment on my posts ?

  Why can’t people comment on my posts ? I’ve followed the directions and the settings appear to be correct – but no ability for anyone to post a reply.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Since your blog is Private we can’t really offer any opinions, since we can’t see what’s going on.

  I assumed this was monitored by people who work for wordpress. Is that not the case ?

  No. The first step is the forum; if the volunteers can’t help, we flag this for staff attention and then you just have to wait.

  Since your site is set to private, you need to invite people to view and comment on your blog. Looking at your invited users list, it appears you’ve invited people correctly. Please note they have to accept the invite before they can view or comment on your site.

  Are you having a problem with a specific post or page? If you can provide me with the name of that post/page I’ll be happy to take a closer look. I took a look at your “Spring Cleaning” post and comments were disabled in that particular post. To enable comments again, edit the post and check the “Allow comments” in the Discussion module.
